CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee (6-5) defeated Austin Peay (0-5-1) 8-0 in game one and was winning 2-0 in the top of the fifth in the second game, until the game was called because of darkness Tuesday at Lady Govs Field.
Senior hurler Stayc Preator was on a roll in the second game as she had thrown four scoreless innings and had recorded seven strikeouts. Sadly, the stats will not count as the game was called before it could be officially counted.
Middle Tennessee took game one at Austin Peay 8-0, as the game was called after six innings. After scoring one run in the top of the second, when Michelle Wilkes knocked in Megan Cherinka, the Lady Raiders exploded in the third inning.
