Tracksters to Participate in All Africa Games

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee tracksters Rosemary Okafor and Victor Okorie, as well as former Blue Raider Christian Nsiah and graduate assistant coach Andrew Owusu are all set to participate in the 8th All Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria, October 4-18.
The games are composed of 22 sports with over 6,000 athletes from 53 countries. The track competition takes place October 11-16 at the National Stadium Complex in Abuja.
Okafor and Okorie will both represent Nigeria, while Nsiah and Owusu will participate as members of the Ghana national team.
The Unity Games have previously been held in 1965, 1973, 1978, 1987, 1991, 1995 and 1999.
