Blue Raiders Sweep Chattanooga, 7-0

The Blue Raiders won all three doubles points, led by the 29th-ranked doubles tandem of Brandon Allan and Kai Schledorn. Middle Tennessee's No. 1 duo defeated UTC's Thomas Knizat and Arturo Navarro, 8-5, while the 58th-ranked tandem of Andreas Siljestrom and Marco Born took care of Josh Bales and Mark Fynn, 8-3, at No. 2. Greg Pollack and Anant Sitaram won 8-4 at No. 3 over Tim Kutschera and Artem Vlaskenko.
In singles Middle Tennessee picked up a win at No. 1 in three sets and cruised in the four matches at the bottom of the lineup.
Siljestrom, ranked 68th in singles, defeated Navarro, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, at No. 1, while Born won 6-4, 7-6 (4), over Knizat at No. 2. Schledorn defeated Ryan Fitzgerald, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 3, with Sitaram picking up a 6-1, 6-1, victory at No. 4 over Vlaskenko. Pollack won 6-4, 6-1, over Fynn at No. 5, and Allan defeated Kutchera, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 6.
The Blue Raiders host Belmont at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Racquet Club before hitting the road next weekend, beginning Thursday at Louisville.
