Blue Raiders Fall to No. 1 Nebraska 3-0

LINCOLN, Neb. - Middle Tennessee volleyball (3-2) fell to No. 1 Nebraska (2-0) 3-0 (30-14, 30-15, 30-15) Saturday in front of a crowd of 4,270 at NU Coliseum.
The Blue Raiders were held to their lowest hitting percentage of the season with a -.088 hitting percentage. Middle Tennessee had just 21 kills and committed 30 errors.
Sophomore standout Ashley Adams had four kills in the match. Victoria Monasterolo led the club with six kills. Middle Tennessee could only muster one service ace in the match which was recorded by Adams.
Middle Tennessee closes out the Nebraska Tournament by facing St. Mary's of California on Sunday. Match time is set for noon.
