Three Tracksters Qualify for NCAA Meet

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Juan Walker, Orlando Reid and Carlos Morgan will all take part in this weekend's NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., after their performances this season. Walker, a 2006 Indoor All-American in the long jump, made the event in the 60-meter hurdles this time after recording a time of 7.77 at the Kentucky Invitational on January 13. Morgan posted a mark of 25-5 in the long jump at the Blue Raider Invitational on January 20 and will look to become the 41st different athlete to garner All-America honors under head coach Dean Hayes. Morgan's mark is the ninth best in the nation this season. Reid, a 2006 Outdoor All-American in the 200-meters, qualified for the 200 Indoors this time around with a mark of 21.32 at the Sun Belt Championships two weeks ago. Reid posted times of 21.38 and 21.37 as well.
