Men's hoops earns Team of the Week honor on ESPN.com

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee men's basketball team has been named the Mid-Major Team of the Week by ESPN's Myron Medcalf.
The Blue Raiders knocked off the Ole Miss Rebels, 65-62, on Saturday to improve to 7-2 on the season. MT currently ranks No. 7 in the latest mid-major poll on ESPN.com. For the complete poll, click here.
MT has won five of its last six and remains undefeated at home this year at 4-0. The Blue Raiders have won 17 straight regular-season home games and are 19-2 at Murphy Center over the past two seasons.
MT looks to continue its hot streak Thursday night against the Belmont Bruins. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. and the game will air on CSS and ESPN3.
