MT makes short trip to Belmont on Tuesday
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee is slated for a short trip to Belmont on Tuesday, December 2 at 7 p.m.; the game will be broadcasted on American Sports Network (ASN).
The Blue Raiders are coming off two neutral site losses in Niceville, Fla. at the inaugural Emerald Coast Classic as they sit at 3-3 on the season, while the Bruins are 6-1 this year with their only loss coming in their season opener at Wright State.

BLUE RAIDER BULLET
• MT holds a 20-14 all-time record against Belmont with a match-up that dates back to 1953. The series seems to favor the home court as MT is 12-5 at the Murphy Center but 5-8 at the Curb Event Center.
• Middle Tennessee is slated for a four-game road swing starting with Belmont on December 2 followed by South Alabama (Dec. 6), Akron (Dec. 13) and Oklahoma State (Dec. 16). The Blue Raiders will finally return home to host Chattanooga on December 19 at the Murphy Center.
• The Bruins are averaging 80.0 points per game this season as junior Craig Bradshaw is coming off a 42 point performance, including the game winning basket with 0.2 seconds remaining against Ohio.
• Senior Jacquez Rozier has recorded double-digit scoring outing in three games this season with 15 vs Murray, 10 against NAU and 10 against Cincinnati. Rozier leads the team in field-goal percentage (.526), field-goals per game (3.3), offensive rebounds (18) and steals (7).
• The five veteran returners for the Blue Raiders have combined for 208 points this season out of MT's total of 355 points. Reggie Upshaw (9.2 ppg), Rozier (9.0 ppg) and Marcus Tarrance (8.0 ppg) lead the Blue Raiders in scoring this season.
• MT's bench has scored just over 40 percent of the team's total points (143/355) with Tarrance spearheading the attack at 8.0 points per game.
• MT has done a fantastic job of getting to the foul line this season with 134 free throw attempts through six games, while its opponents have attempted 103 foul shots.
• The Blue Raiders have put out four different starting lineups through the first six contests, while nine different Blue Raiders have notched at least one start.
• Head Coach Kermit Davis is 15 wins from his 250th career win at Middle Tennessee. He is the only coach in program history to earn 200+ wins. Davis has winning percentage of 61 percent with the Blue Raiders in 386 games.
• Edward Simpson, Jaquel Richmond, Jacob Ivory and Giddy Potts have started their collegiate career strong with a combined 272 minutes played between the freshmen. Simpson and Richmond have both garnered starts for the Blue Raiders as Richmond leads the team with 10 assists this season
• DJ Jones grabbed his first start of the year against No. 23 Creighton and added energy to the defense and recorded a career-high eight points, three rebounds and three assists.
• Darnell Harris returned to a familiar court at the Emerald Coast Classic at Northwest Florida State College to collect a career-high 15 points against Cincinnati with five three-point baskets in the game.
