MT defends home court this week
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee looks to bounce back after a tough road week as it returns to the Murphy Center to host Southern Miss (6-14, 1-8 C-USA) on Thursday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. with the Blue Raiders looking to improve on their 54-6 home court record in the last four seasons.
MT is now 12-10 overall and 5-4 in league play. The Blue Raiders defeated USM 62-61 on the road earlier this season with Reggie Upshaw putting in the game-winninng lay-up with 14 seconds left on the clock.
After the Southern Miss battle the Blue Raiders will host LA Tech on ASN for Legend's Night as Middle Tennessee recognizes former players in the program.
