Blue Raiders and Golden Flashes meet for first time
MURFREESBORO, TENN. - Middle Tennessee will meet Kent State for the first time in program history as the Blue Raiders bring the Golden Flashes to the Glass House for the CIT first round match-up on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT.
This will be MT's second appearance in the CIT, but first time hosting the postseason tournament. The Blue Raiders are 19-16 as they seek their fourth-consecutive 20-win season.
The Golden Flashes are 21-11 and are 94th in RPI rankings. The team has won 20 games in 15 of its last 17 seasons.
