Blue Raiders fall in regular season finale

MT drops 4-0 at USF
TAMPA, Fla. - Middle Tennessee men's tennis dropped its match at No. 19 USF 4-0 in its regular season finale on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulls grabbed the early advantage after clinching the doubles point with a win at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots over Yannick Born and Miguel Negre Fernandez as well as Ettore Zito and Dima Zyhmantovich.
USF carried that momentum into singles play as Zito fell to the Bulls' Roberto Cid 6-1, 6-2 on the top court to give USF the 2-0 lead in the match.
Negre Fernandez then fell 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot, while Victor Hoang fell 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 5 position to clinch the 4-0 victory for the Bulls.
Middle Tennessee heads into the Conference USA Championship with a 13-12 record and still awaits its seeding. The championship is set to start Friday, April 17.
