Netters to Host Racers on Wednesday

Women’s Tennis vs. Murray State on campus at 2 p.m.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After completing a two-match Florida road swing, Middle Tennessee women's tennis will return to campus and the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center to compete against Murray State on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The Racers will enter play with a 6-5 record on the season. Murray State has shutout wins over Evansville, Olivet Nazarene and Lindsey Wilson. They've also taken down Arkansas State, 4-1, and Lipscomb, 4-3. In the Ohio Valley Conference opener against Morehead State, they took a 5-2 victory.
Conference USA foe Western Kentucky defeated Murray State 6-1 in late February. Louisville and Southern Illinois have also taken down the Racers by a score of 6-1.
MT comes back to Murfreesboro with a record of 8-7-1. The Blue Raiders are fresh off a Florida trip which included a 4-1 win over Stetson, a rain out with Columbia, and a 4-2 loss to USF.
Five matches remain in the regular season for the Blue Raiders, including three home matches. MT will host the C-USA Women's Tennis Championships on April 21-24 at the Adams Tennis Complex.
