Dadzie 21st in Heptathlon

EUGENE, Oregon – On the final day of the NCAA Championship, Elizabeth Dadzie competed in her final three events of the heptathlon and finished 21st overall with 5,298 points at Hayward Field.
Dadzie opened the day in arguably her best event, the long jump. The Ghana native leaped 6.15 meters (20-2.25) for fourth and 896 points.
In the next two events, Dadzie finished 20th in the javelin and the 800 meter. Dadzie launched a 33.88 meter (111-2) throw in the javelin, scoring 550 points.
Dadzie concluded her first NCAA Championship with the 800 meter, finishing 20th in 2:36.65 and adding 612 points.
