MURFREESBORO, TN – A second-half goal from senior Sydney Navarro gave Middle Tennessee (8-3-1, 3-1-1) the 2-1 advantage over Charlotte (8-5-0, 4-2-0) on Sunday afternoon. Peyton DePriest scored her eighth goal of the season in the first half when she tied the game at one following the opening goal from the 49ers' Julia Grainda. The win puts the Blue Raiders in fourth place in the Conference USA standings with three weeks remaining.

49' - CHANCE (CHA) - A great corner kick was headed by Julia Grainda towards the net but it sailed high

51' - CHANCE (MT) - The Blue Raiders got a break as a long pass was pushed forward by DePriest who came just inches from her second goal of the match as the ball rolled just wide of the far post.

53' - CHANCE (CHA) - A 49er corner was deflected to the edge of the box as Megan Greene collected it for Charlotte and took a shot on goal. The ball went wide of the diving Barnard but Savannah Stair was on the goal line to deflect the shot away.
