Mason Named to the C-USA All-Conference Second Team

IRVING, Texas – Conference USA Volleyball's All-Conference honorees were announced by the conference office on Thursday afternoon, with senior Bailey Mason finding her spot on the second team. Mason joins 15 other conference members named to the second team this season.
The senior outside hitter marks the fourth Blue Raider in the history of the program to be named to a Conference USA All-Conference team, joining Tyler Richardson (2013, First Team), Jale Hervey (2013, All-Freshman) and Chelsea Ross (2014 and 2015, First Team).
Respectively, Mason led the Middle Tennessee's offense throughout the year, recording a team-high 289 kills on the year to average 3.11 kills per set. Similarly, the Forsyth, Ill. product led the team in service aces (27) and points per set (3.60) while ranking third on the team in digs (157).
In conference play, Mason ranked among the top-20 in three of the seven individual statistical categories including, kills per set (3.11, 11th), service aces per set (0.29, 9th) and points per set (3.60, 11th).
Likewise, Mason earned the first C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honor for the Blue Raiders, marking the first player of the week honor for Middle Tennessee in three seasons.
