Blue Raiders Travel to LA Tech

RUSTON, La. – The Blue Raiders continue their Conference USA opening weekend on the road, traveling to Louisiana Tech for their next contest. The team will meet the Lady Techsters on Sunday, Sept. 23 in the Thomas Assembly Center for their next C-USA contest at 1:00p.m.

The Lady Techsters enter Sunday's contest with a 5-10 record after dropping its first Conference USA match of the season to North Texas in a five-set thriller.
LA Tech's offense has been paced by Kaitlyn Adams, registering 148 kills to average 3.17 kills per set this season for the Lady Techsters. Adams is followed by Madeline Davis (114) and Lara Hendricks (110) who have notched a combined 224 kills.
From the defensive end, Alyssa Zucco has recorded 202 digs for the Lady Techsters this season, averaging 4.12 digs per set.
Blue Raiders fall in three-sets to WKU
Middle Tennessee dropped its C-USA opener to WKU on Friday evening in three sets. Senior Bailey Mason controlled the Blue Raider offense in the match, inking 13 kills (.321). On the defensive end, junior libero Brienna Tankesley notched 14 digs from the back row for the Blue Raiders.
