Groundhog Day Luncheon Set for Feb. 1

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The 46th Annual Groundhog Day Luncheon is set for Friday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
Head coach Jim Toman and the Middle Tennessee baseball team will host the event to kick off the 2019 campaign. The luncheon will feature the traditional menu of ham hocks, white beans, tomato salad, green onions, corn bread, chocolate cake and ice cream.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Additionally, a table of 10 can be reserved for $250. Reservations can be made by calling the Blue Raider ticket office at (615) 898-5261 or by visiting GoBlueRaiders.com/tickets.
The Blue Raiders kick off the 2019 campaign with a seven-game homestand at Reese Smith, Jr. Field that opens against Bowling Green for a three game series. Then Northern Illinois, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Bradley make the trip to Murfreesboro as part of the Mule Mix Classic.
