Blue Raiders Tally 11 Podium Finishes at KMS Invitational

Middle Tennessee raced at the Birmingham Crossplex for the second weekend in a row and again, found success in many. Overall, the Blue Raiders took home 11 podium finishes including four titles.
Notable Results
Cecilia Francis ran a season best by a tenth of a second in her 60 meter title with Mirlege Castor finishing second with a personal best of her own. Joycelyn Assafuah ran a season best in her 400 and a person record in the 200 during her pair of second place finishes.
Tre'Von Sanders won his second straight 800 meter title at the KMS Invitational with a win by more than two seconds.
A season best long jump earned Omosola a third place mark in long jump while Jacob Patten won the men's high jump.
Odugbesan won the shot put by nearly one meter with his second throw of the day.

While some of the Blue Raiders will compete against professional runners in the Camel City Elite race on Saturday, February 2nd, much of the team will be racing at home the same date. The MTSU Invitational will take place at the Murphy Center.
