MTSU Invitational Schedule & Entry List Camel City Elite Info

The Middle Tennessee Track & Field will host their only home competition of the 2019 season on Saturday. Belmont, Tennessee State, and Cumberland will join the Blue Raiders at the MTSU Invitational in the Murphy Center. The first events begin at 10:30am and the meet continues into the afternoon. Meanwhile, three runners will be competing in the Camel City Elite Races in Winston-Salem, NC.

Historically Speaking
The Blue Raiders nabbed 13 top finishes and ten personal bests in last year's MTSU Invitational. Solomon Afful inked two first place finishes in the 55 and 200 meter dashes while Jaquez Torian placed first in the 400. Julio Acevedo also recorded a victory in the 800 meter run.

Three of the Blue Raiders' best runners will be competing in the Camel City Elite Races, an event widely regarded as one of the top indoor track meets of the year. Each race will feature a mix of professional and collegiate runners, the latter often make NCAA National qualifying times in this race.
