Men’s Cross Country takes home first at Tennessee Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's cross country team took first place at the Tennessee Invitational, while the women's team finished third.
The men's team won the meet with a team score of 31 points, while the women's team recorded a team score of 46 points
Allan Kiplagat once again led the Blue Raiders on the men's side, claiming the individual title with a time of 19:12.4. Moses Lekokei finished fifth in 19:33.3, followed by Solomon Sayo in sixth at 19:34.9
Kelvin Tanui finished eighth in 19:39.7, while Gabe Allen placed 11th in 19:44.5. Mackdonald Songok finished 20th in 20:49.5, and Juan Lucas De La Fuente placed 23rd in 20:54.5.
On the women's side Evalyne Wambui led the Blue Raiders on the women's side, finishing fourth in 15:58.9. Elizabeth Magoma came in sixth at 16:40.1, while Odilia Jepchumba finished seventh in 17:09.0.
Privillege Chikara placed 11th in 17:25.9, while Eleanor Towe finished 18th in 18:07.5. Lauren Cole placed 20th in 18:30.4, followed by Viviana in 22nd at 18:52.9. Haillee Gorham placed 23rd at 19:13.3
