MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Seniors Jacob Choge and Eusila Chepkemei were named Conference USA Cross Country Male and Female Athletes of the Year Friday morning after a successful season that included two conference titles.
After winning his third individual championship title in the 2019 C-USA meet, Choge was named to the First Team All-Conference and led his team to a second place finish at the NCAA South Region Championships. Choge ranks eighth in the FloTrack national rankings and helped his team to No. 13 in the USTFCCCA rankings.
Chepkemei took home her first individual championship title at the C-USA meet as she led the women's team to a conference title.
