Women's Tennis Returns to Action Against Furman

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After a 12-day absence, Middle Tennessee's women's tennis team returns to action to take on Furman Saturday at 10 a.m.

Player to watch: No. 33 Katarina Kozarov (7-1 overall)
This will be the fourth meeting between the Blue Raiders and Paladins, the last meeting coming in 2001, a Middle Tennessee victory. Furman comes into Saturday riding a six-match winning streak and is 9-1 overall, falling only to Louisville. Last season, the Paladins finished 20-9 overall and lost to No. 3 Duke in the NCAA tournament.
MT players to watch
Kim Kermet – has won three straight singles matches.
Costanza Magazzini/Zani Barnard – the magic duo is unscathed so far this season. They are 5-0, all in the No. 1 doubles spot. Magazzini also won both of her singles matches in a doubleheader on Feb. 10.
Luisa Zirilli – Won both of her matches in the doubleheader on Feb. 10.
Lidia Burrows – has won two straight matches and is 4-5 overall.
