Round 2 Results
STATESBORO, Ga. – With 36 holes complete at the Schenkel Invitational, the Blue Raiders dropped from a tie for seventh to sole possession of eighth on Saturday after turning in a 12-over par 300 to sit at 16-over par (292-300=592) for the tournament.
Middle Tennessee continues to perform late in the day, logging a 2-over score on the back nine after making the turn at 10-over par.
"We just did not have it today," head coach Mark McEntire said. "We made a few birdies on the closing holes to stay in our spot. We need a good round tomorrow to get something going for next week."

Freshman Palmer Sadlowski improved on day two with a 6-over 78 while James Beckner faltered down the stretch with a 5-over mark on the back nine putting him at 8-over for the day.
The Blue Raiders sit two strokes back of Conference USA rival UAB (+14) and one stroke ahead of Virginia Tech (+17).
The trio of teams in the middle of the pack will tee off in Sunday's final round at 8:30 a.m. ET on the first tee.
