STATESBORO, Ga. – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders saw a mix of strong performances and steady play after the opening day of the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate at Georgia Southern University Golf Course. Middle Tennessee was paced by Owen Queener and Jake Hopper, who are tied for eighth at 2-over-par 146 following two rounds of the 54-hole event.
UAB's Erik Olin sits atop the individual leaderboard at 9-under-par, followed by teammate Morgan Slaton at 4-under. Georgia Southern's Parker Claxton and Augusta's Dean Wilken are tied for third at 2-under-par.
The Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate concludes with a final round on Sunday, Feb. 8. The final round will begin at 7:15 a.m. CT via a shotgun start.
The Lineup
• Owen Queener is tied for eighth at 2-over-par after carding rounds of even-par 72 and 2-over-par 74 on Saturday.

• Will Pinson is tied for 52nd at 14-over-par with rounds of 8-over-par 80 and 6-over-par 78.
• Luke Perkins is tied for 58th at 18-over-par after carding rounds of 11-over-par 83 and 7-over-par 79.
• Charlie Bell is tied for 59th at 20-over-par following rounds of 16-over-par 88 and 4-over-par 76.
