Seven Blue Raiders to Compete at the Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – Seven athletes from the Middle Tennessee men and women's track and field teams travel to North Carolina to compete at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State.
Joice Jebor and Julia Jelagat will be making their outdoor season debut at the Relays, competing in the 5,000-meter event. Likewise, on the men's side, Kigen Chemadi and Lebo Mosito will represent the Blue Raider men in the 5,000-meter event.
Moving into the afternoon, Eulisa Chepkemei and Brian Rono will compete in the 1,500-meter event on the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility.
Finally, Jacob Choge will round off the day in the men's 10,000-meter event.

Historically Speaking at the Raleigh Relays
Last time in Raleigh, Jacob Choge claimed 11th in the men's 10,000-meter final, crossing the line with a time of 29:25.31. Likewise, Julia Jelagat also competed at the Raleigh Relays last season, as the junior notched a 64th place finish in the women's 5,000-meter event (17:19.76).
