MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After a convincing win over Austin Peay on Tuesday night, Middle Tennessee looks to keep the ball rolling against C-USA foe Southern Miss.
The Golden Eagles have dominated the Blue Raiders of late. Their winning streak currently sits at 14 games against the Blue Raiders.
The Blue Raiders have won two of their three home C-USA series' this season, and needing to do so this weekend to keep above .500 in conference play. Twelve of the Blue Raiders 16 wins have been at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
Scouting Southern Miss: The Golden Eagles are once again one of the better teams in C-USA, coming into the weekend as the second place team. But in their last two road series', they've only been able to win two games, losing road series' to UTSA and FIU.
Southern Miss comes into the series as the best pitching team in C-USA with an ERA of 3.92. While the Blue Raiders have been one of the better hitting teams in the month of April, they'll have their hands full against the Golden Eagles.
