Raiders Will Play in NISC Postseason Tournament

Murfreesboro, Tenn.- The Middle Tennessee softball team will travel to Nacogdoches, Texas to play in the 2019 National Invitational Softball Championship. The Raiders will face McNeese State in the in the first round of the regional hosted by Stephen F. Austin.
The Raiders made a memorable run in the C-USA Tournament, beating WKU and UTEP in the first tow rounds before being eliminated from NCAA contention after dropping back-to-back games to North Texas and eventual champion Louisiana Tech.
The Raiders were selected for the NISC last night at 10:00 p.m. The tournament consists of 19 teams including C-USA opponents Marshall. The Raiders will be in the same regional bracket as McNeese State, UT Arlington, and host Stepen F. Austin.
The Raiders first game will be will be at 3:00 p.m. against McNeese State.
