Annual Blue Raider Veteran and Military Appreciation Night and The Women in Sports Day Set For This Week

Murfressboro, Tenn. – The Lady Raiders return to the Murphy Center this week to host the Blue Raider Veteran and Military Appreciation Night on Thursday and the Women in Sports Day on Saturday.
Thursday, Jan. 30th the Lady Raiders will tip-off against UTEP at 6:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:15 p.m. so they do not miss out on the special game ball delivery by soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division. Military personnel and veterans with a valid military ID will receive complimentary admission at the box office on game day.
Saturday, Feb. 1st the Lady Raiders will take on UTSA at 5:00 PM. This game will serve as the Women in Sports Day game. Starting at 4:15 p.m., female student athletes will be on the concourse signing autographs. Throughout the game, we will be honoring Senior Associate AD/SWA Diane Turnham, women's golf coach Chris Adams, and women's tennis coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall for their contribution to women's sports.
