MT heads to Murray State and hosts Ball State
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team heads to Murray State for the 38th meeting in the series on Thursday. Afterwards, the Lady Raiders hosts Ball State at the Adams Tennis Complex. All home tennis matches offer free admission and free parking.

- Middle Tennessee's roster features two seniors (Marta Peris Herrero and Lidia Burrows), two juniors (Lee Barnard and Zani Barnard) and four freshmen (Love-Star Alexis, Muskan Gupta, Zoe Klapman and Noelle Mauro).
- The past decade, the Blue Raiders are 60-24 in home matches and 41-56 in away matches.
- Head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall enters her second season with the Blue Raiders.
- The Raiders finished 11-13 overall and 2-3 in Conference USA, reaching the tournament quarterfinals before falling to C-USA Champions Rice.
- Burrows and Herrero lead the Blue Raiders with a combined over 100 career singles wins.
- Freshman Love-Star Alexis led the Raiders with the most fall wins with seven, look for her to make an immediate impact this season.
- MT moved to 16-0 over Tennessee State last week.
- Marta Herrero Peris and Noelle Mauro are 3-0 in singles.
- The Barnard twins currently hold a 2-0 record in doubles.
