O'Hara in running for Manning QB Star of Week Award

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee quarterback Asher O'Hara has been selected as a Manning Award Star of the Week for his outstanding efforts in leading the Blue Raiders to a come-from-behind win at FIU Saturday.
O'Hara is one of eight quarterbacks to be named a Manning Star of the Week and fans can go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote for what they think was the best performance from the weekend. The winner will be announced after voting closes Thursday at 11 a.m. (Central).

O'Hara set the Middle Tennessee record for 100-yard rushing games by a quarterback with his fifth career game surpassing the century mark at FIU. O'Hara rushed for 106 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
The dual-threat quarterback was also exceptional through the air as he completed 23-of-42 passes for 268 yards and two touchdowns. O'Hara connected with Jarrin Pierce for a 12-yard TD with 1:20 remaining to complete the come-from-behind victory.
O'Hara finished with 374 of Middle Tennessee's 404 yards total offense.
The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2004 to honor the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning.
