MT to defend home court against UAB and UAPB before heading to No. 24 Princeton
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The No. 31st-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis team hosts a doubleheader on Friday and travel to the northeast on Sunday. The Blue Raiders host Conference USA foe UAB and the Golden Lions of UAPB on Friday then face No. 24 Princeton on Sunday.
You can also get FREE hot dogs and chocolate milk provided by the MTSU Creamery, MTSU Dining and Blue Print Solutions. These promotions are available for the 4:30 p.m. match against UAPB. Both men's and women's teams will split the Adams Tennis Complex for the home match against UAPB. Free admission and parking to all home matches.

Scouting the Blazers
- The Blazers and the Blue Raiders have seen each other in 27 matchups dating back to 1981; UAB leads the series 15-12.
- In the last appearance, the Blue Raiders stomped the Blazers 6-1 in at the Adams Tennis Complex. Raiders have won the eight of the last nine.
- UAB is dropping a 0-5 record so far in 2019. Last spring, the Blazers went 8-13 and lost in the first round of the C-USA tournament to No. 1-seed FAU (4-0)

- This is the first appearance between the programs.
- UAPB match with the Blue Raiders is their first match of the dual season after two postponed matches earlier against Mississippi Valley State and Southern.
- In 2019, the Golden Lions held a 1-19 record. Its lone win came over Mississippi Valley State (5-0).
