MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The long off-season has come to a close for Middle Tennessee's softball team, as the Blue Raiders have traveled west for six games in the Cal State Fullerton tournament to begin the 2020 season.

» Middle Tennessee returns more pitching than any team in the nation, as 89% of its innings pitched in 2019 have come back for the 2020 season.

» Senior shortstop Summer Burgess was named to Conference USA's Preseason Team two weeks ago.
» All-time home runs leader Lexi Cushing returns for her senior year with hopes of extending that record further.
