Eleanor Gough joins the Blue Raiders in 2020

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's soccer head coach Aston Rhoden announced Eleanor Gough as another addition to the 2020 roster on Tuesday.
Gough, a 5-foot-7 midfielder/forward, will come to Middle Tennessee from Milton, United Kingdom. She played for MK Dons Women FC under Charlie Bill and James Honeyman and played for MK Dons RTC Academy and Bedfordshire County Team. She was announced as the MK Dons Womens Young Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
For her high school team, Redborne Upper School, Gough was awarded the School Sports Person of the Year and won the School County Cup for two straight years.
"Ellie is a crafty, versatile, and hardworking attacking midfielder and forward," Rhoden said. "She is strong on the ball and her mobility in the final third will help create scoring opportunities for us."
Gough plans to major in economics after enrolling at Middle Tennessee. Her favorite food is chinese, favorite TV show is Stranger Things and favorite artist is Drake.
