Lady Raiders Garner ITA Scholar-Athlete, Academic Team Awards

Six Raiders earn accolade
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis program has been named an ITA All-Academic Team, while six Lady Raiders earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2019-20 season.
This is the fourth time that the Blue Raiders have earned the team honor. To be eligible for the award, teams must possess a combined GPA of at least 3.20.
Senior Marta Peris garner their second career ITA Scholar-Athlete honor, first earned the award as a freshman in 2017. First time plaudits go to senior Lidia Burrows, juniors Lee and Zani Barnard and freshmen Muskan Gupta and Noelle Mauro.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a player must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale).
