Men's golf concludes fall season at Trinity Forest Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Men's Golf heads to Dallas to close out the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule at the Trinity Forest Invitational. The Blue Raiders will take the same record-setting starting lineup they used at the JT Poston Invitational to the par-71, 7,330-yard course at Trinity Forest Golf Club, which hosted the AT&T Byron Nelson from 2018-2020.
The tournament starts at 8 a.m. Central on Monday with a shotgun start. The Blue Raiders will tee off from holes 10-13.
NOTES
- Middle Tennessee is coming off a second-place finish at Western Carolina's JT Poston Invitational last week in which it set a program record in the first round for the lowest team round at 268 (-16). Nick Wolf also tied the school record and broke the tournament record for the lowest individual round at 63 (-8) in the first.
- Michael Barnard leads the Blue Raiders with a stroke average of 72.17 through two tournaments this season after leading the team at the JT Poston Invitational at 209 (-4).
- The Blue Raiders captured four team tournament titles last season, including winning the C-USA championship in match play. It was the most team titles in a season for MT since the 2007-08 campaign.
- The 13-team field features five Conference USA teams, including Rice, North Texas, UTSA, Louisiana Tech and the Blue Raiders.
HEAD COACH MARK MCENTIRE ON THE UPCOMING TOURNAMENT
"With this being the last tournament of the fall, we are hoping to put all the pieces together," head coach Mark McEntire said. "We will play the same lineup as last week and want to continue the good play from last week. This is a great course and hope it is a good week for us."
