Shegota was second in her region and ranked top-5 nationally in US Youth Soccer and was the Bobcats leading goal scorer during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. She also played at the club level with Team Boca Soccer Club for seven years, as well as Boca United Football Club DA for two years.
"Gabi is a natural goal scorer with great composure in and around the box," expressed coach Rhoden. "She's strong on the ball and can create scoring chances for her teammates. Her versatility as an attacking player will enable us to be more flexible in attack."
Emily McGrain

McGrain, a native of Forest Hill, Maryland, joins the Blue Raiders as a one-year letterwinner from Bel Air High school. During her time with the Bobcats, McGrain played 12 regular season contests, recording 136 saves with nine clean sheets, and only allowed four goals. In addition to her high school play, McGrain also competed at the club level with Pipeline Soccer Club for two years, as well as Baltimore Armour DA, Washington Spirit DA, and Bethesda ECNL.
"Emily is an athletic, technical, and explosive keeper," said coach Rhoden. "She has great reactions, plays well with her feet, and dominates her box. Emily will certainly enhance the competitiveness within our goalkeeper unit."
