Blue Raiders' spring schedule finalized

Murfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee has finalized its spring schedule, featuring regular season trips to five of the top courses in North America and culminating with the Conference USA Championships and the NCAA postseason. The spring will see the Blue Raiders take trips to Utah, Puerto Rico, Georgia, Mississippi, and Arkansas as well as a short drive to Franklin, Tenn.
The spring kicks off with Southern Utah's Pat Hicks Invitational, held Feb. 11-13 at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. Golf Digest has twice named Sunbrook the top course in the state of Utah, based on scenery, challenge, quality, and service.
The second excursion of the year takes Middle Tennessee to TPC Dorado Beach in Dorado, Puerto Rico, for the Dorado beach Intercollegiate. Hosted by UNC Greensboro, the tournament will take place Feb.27-March 1 on courses that have played host to PGA TOUR tournaments, celebrities, world leaders and iconic players.
After a two-and-a-half week layoff, MT is back on the road at The Schenkel Invitational from March 18-20. Georgia Southern will host the tournament at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga., the site of the Annual Southeastern Amateur Golf Tournament, The Ga. State Golf Association Four-Ball Tournament and other such events.
April begins with a shorter trip for the Blue Raiders, as they take part in Vanderbilt's Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tenn. The Vanderbilt Legends Club is widely recognized as among the finest in Tennessee, having played host to many local, regional and national competitions.
The final regular season event for Middle Tennessee will take place April 11-12 at the Mossy Oak Intercollegiate in West Point, Miss. Mississippi State hosts the event at the Mossy Oak Country Club, named the No. 3 Best New Course in the country by Golf Digest in 2017 and a Top-100 Modern Course in the nation by Golfweek in 2019.
The Blue Raiders return to the Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark., for the Conference USA Championships, held April 25-28. TCC has hosted such events as the Mid-South Cup, the National Youth Classic and six Ben Hogan/Nike Tour events for the PGA tour.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 16-18 at locations yet to be determined. The NCAA Championships are slated for May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Course in Scottsdale, Ariz., the second straight year the event will be played at that location.
