About the Blue Raiders

» Senior Amber Baldwin heads up a deep and talented pitching staff that will also put four juniors and a freshman in the circle this season.
» Sophomores Kelci Hill and Kaylee Richetto burst onto the scene last season and will be expected to produce in their second collegiate season. Hill was fifth nationally among freshmen in hits with 32, while Richetto led all C-USA freshmen in batting average (.450), slugging percentage (.825) and on base percentage (.560).
» MT Head Coach Jeff Breeden and staff signed C-USA's best 2020 recruiting class, and that highly anticipated group of Blue Raiders will get the chance to make an impact at the next level beginning this weekend.
» Corner infielders Lexi Cushing and Jocelynn De La Cruz were fifth nationally in home runs as a duo (18) last season.
» The Blue Raiders hope to take advantage of their team speed in 2021. The headliner for MT's speed is junior Savannah Freeman. Freeman is currently third in program history with a .912 career stolen base percentage.
» Outfielder Claire Smith and catchers Brooke McClure and Ryan King join Baldwin and De La Cruz in beginning their senior season on Friday.
