Softball cancels games at Alabama State Classic

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A five-game Alabama State Classic slate has been canceled for Middle Tennessee's softball team due to this week's poor weather and road conditions in Murfreesboro and the surrounding areas.
MT entered the week at 1-2 after three games at the rain-shortened The Spring Games tournament in Leesburg, Florida.
The Blue Raiders now turn their attention to five games at the South Alabama Jaguar Classic, scheduled for Feb. 26-28 in Mobile, Alabama. MT is currently slated to take on SIU Ewardsville, Northwestern State, host South Alabama and the nationally-ranked Missouri Tigers.
