Raiders Hit the Road to Battle Charlotte, Davidson

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team hits the road this weekend as they travel to the Tar Heel State to battle Charlotte and Davidson. First serve in Charlotte on Saturday is set for 10 a.m. while the match against Davidson will start at noon on Sunday.

About the Blue Raiders
- Middle Tennessee is coming off a tough lost last week, falling to undefeated Florida International, 5-2
- Noelle Mauro and Zani Barnard each picked up wins for the Raiders in the match
- Graduate student Lidia Burrows has 87 singles wins which ranks No. 2 in program history.
- The pair of Love-star Alexis and Zani Barnard have now won five straight matches after winning 6-3 last week vs. FIU

- Davidson currently sits at 5-7 after defeating Radford, 4-3, yesterday
- Josie Schaffer leads the team with six wins at the #1 singles
-Schaffer has also paired up with Nicole Krykanov for five wins at #1 doubles
