Blue Raiders Prepare for Clark Wood Open

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee track and field team is set to compete at the Clark Wood Open this weekend in Louisville, Ky.
Last Time Out
The Blue Raiders competed at the War Eagle Invitational, closing out competition on Saturday with 10 podium finishes and three event titles overall. Esther Isa used a personal best 1.85m to claim the women's high jump title. Eusila Chepkemei captured the title and set a new personal best in the women's 1500m, finishing with a 4:18.96. The Blue Raiders dominated the men's 5000m as Lebo Mosito (14:00.66) captured the gold and Kigen Chemadi (14:01.29) took the silver.
Blue Raiders Finishing First
Middle Tennessee has brought 47 podium finishes and 17 event titles home to Murfreesboro this outdoor season.
The Blue Raider jumpers lead the way with seven event titles, and the distance runners follow closely behind with five titles. Middle Tennessee sprinters have earned four titles.

Middle Tennessee holds seven spots in the top-50 national qualifying marks.
