Chemadi C-USA Track Athlete of the Year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee standout Kigen Chemadi has been named the Conference USA Track Athlete of the Year as announced by the league office Monday.
Chemadi capped his illustrious career in style winning the NCAA outdoor 3000-meter steeplechase with a Middle Tennessee-record time of 8:20.20 last week.
Chemadi won the 3000-meter steeplechase at the C-USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and he was third in the 5000-meter.
