MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Men's Golf officially begins another year of Conference USA title defense on Sep. 5, when the Blue Raiders open their fall slate for the 2021-22 season.
Head Coach Mark McEntire leads his squad to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Sep. 5-6 for the season opening Island Resort Collegiate. The event is hosted by South Dakota State at Sage Run Golf Club.
Middle Tennessee will head in the opposite direction for its second tournament of the season as it returns to the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate hosted by C-USA foe Louisiana Tech on Sep. 12-14 at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.
Another C-USA rival's home tournament awaits at the end of the month, when the Blue Raiders tee off in UAB's Graeme McDowell Intercollegiate in Birmingham. That event takes place on Sep. 27-28 at Greystone Golf & Country Club.
McEntire's bunch closes out the fall with a trip to Dallas for SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational, played at Trinity Forest Golf Club on Oct. 4-6.
"I am very pleased with the schedule we have put together for this fall," McEntire stated. "It will be nice to see some Power 5 schools again and get back to team competition. I really think we have some solid depth once again and am excited to see the team in action."
Middle Tennessee's spring schedule – which will be announced at a later date – will lead into the Conference USA Championship where the Blue Raiders look to defend their three consecutive titles in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
