Middle Tennessee Soccer opener pushed to Friday due to poor weather conditions

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—The Middle Tennessee soccer team will have to wait one more day to begin the 2021 campaign.
A thunderstorm that rolled through the area rendered field conditions to be too poor for competition after an initial delay due to the storm, prompting officials to postpone the game to Friday.
The match with the Belmont Bruins is still set to take place at the Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium. Kickoff time is scheduled for 7 p.m. For updates on tomorrow's game, follow the Blue Raiders social media channels.
