Softball Announces Fall Camp Dates

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball is set to host fall camps for advanced pitchers and elite prospects, head coach Jeff Breeden announced Monday.
Both camps are open to eighth-12th graders, require participants to have an advanced knowledge base of softball and be playing on a high level summer travel team. Camps will be held at the MTSU Softball Field. Pitchers must bring their own catcher.
Advanced prospects are invited to learn from Blue Raider student-athletes and coaches Sept. 4 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The cost of the camp is $200 and participants must register by Sept. 2 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
Middle Tennessee's Advanced Pitching Camp takes place Sept. 5. from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The cost of the camp is $150 and the deadline to register is Sept. 3. at 11:59 p.m. CST.
Qualifiers of the past three Conference USA tournaments, the Blue Raiders are coming off a 2021 season in which their pitching staff combined for a 2.91 earned run average with 17 complete games and 157 strikeouts.
Middle Tennessee finished 2021 with the best fielding percentage in Conference USA (.972) and recorded the second-most hits in the conference (253).
