Blue Raiders release 2021 cross country schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raider's cross country team has finalized its 2021-22 schedule, Head Coach Keith Vroman announced Friday.
The schedule consists of four high-profile meets, in hopes to prepare both the men and women's teams for a return to the Conference USA Championships once again.
MT's women – who dominated the C-USA Championship last year, with four finishing in the top five – are looking to win their third consecutive conference championship this season. MT's men also looked great last year in a shortened COVID-19 struck season, finishing second in the C-USA Championship.
The Memphis Twilight XC Classic will kick off the new season for the Blue Raiders on September 4. Followed by the Vanderbilt Classic on September 17 and the Louisville XC Classic on October 2. Rounding out the regular season is Texas A&M's Aruturo Barrios Invitational on October 16.
The postseason schedule includes the C-USA Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 30, NCAA Regionals in Huntsville, Alabama on November 12, and the NCAA Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on November 20.
