Magoma named CUSA Women's Athlete of the Week

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Elizabeth Magoma was named Conference USA Women's Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. last Friday, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Magoma led the Middle Tennessee women's team with an eighth-place finish in the 6K, posting a time of 19:42.5 among 184 runners. She crossed the finish line as the second junior in the field, helping the Blue Raiders secure fifth place among 19 teams, finishing ahead of programs such as Kennesaw State, Auburn and Tennessee Tech. Her performance also earned Magoma her first weekly honor was a Blue Raider.
