Blue Raiders Heading to Louisville for PNC Lenny Lyles Invite

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raider women's and men's track and field teams are making their way north for the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational hosted by Louisville, Saturday, January 29.
Last Time Out
Benjamin Onyekwelu started off his long jump season in great style, taking first with a new personal best of 7.71m. His 7.71m mark was good enough for seventh best in the country and earned him Conference USA Field Athlete of the Week honors.
Lyn'Nikka Vance landed in fourth overall during the women's long jump events but was first among indoor eligible athletes with a new a personal best jump of 6.11m. In the finals for the 60m dash she finished .03 seconds short of her personal best she set two weekends ago with 7.51 seconds, good enough for fifth place overall.
During the men's 400m dash, Connor Ono was able to capture bronze with a new personal best time of 48.77 seconds. Darien Jones was not far behind with a time of 48.86 seconds in sixth place.
The men's 3000m went great for the Blue Raiders with Vincent Yegon, Habtamu Geta, and Carmelo Cannizzaro setting new personal bests.
Meet Information
The one-day meet starts at 10:00 am with the women's weight throw and ends at 7:30 pm with the men's 4x400 meter relay.
