Jebor Named C-USA XC Co-Female Athlete of the Week

DALLAS - The conference office has announced Tuesday afternoon that graduate student Joice Jebor was named as Conference USA XC Co-Female Athlete of the Week. This is Jebor's first weekly honor from the conference office.
This past weekend in Tuscaloosa, Joice led the Blue Raiders to a third-place finish ahead of nationally ranked #24 Florida State and behind two SEC schools in #6 Alabama and Auburn. Her time of 21:08.8 was a season-best for the Eldoret, Kenya native, and gave her 19th place in a field of 180 runners.
Jebor is sharing this week's honor with FIU's Andrea Louzidou who finished right alongside her at the Crimson Classic meet.
Next Up for the Blue Raiders
The Blue Raiders men's and women's cross-country team will turn their focus to the Conference USA Championships on Saturday, October 29.
