Signee Spotlight: Dylan Alonso

Middle Tennessee baseball has finalized its 2022 signing class. Starting this week, goblueraiders.com will take a closer look at each future Blue Raider.
Dylan Alonso - RHP/UTL

Miami, Fla.
A four-year varsity starter at Rabun Gap Nacoochee HS located in Northeast Georgia, Alonso and his team made the semifinals of the Georgia state playoffs in 2022 under head coach Clark Wright. In summer league action, Alonso has played for the Artillery Scout Team and Real Ballers National.
The son of Kelly and David and brother of Chase and Michael, Alonso intends to major in psychology at MTSU.
"Dylan is very physical and versatile athletically," MTSU Head Coach Jerry Meyers said. "He has excelled as both a very talented right-handed pitcher and infielder with power. We feel he will really continue to develop on the mound for us and make a strong impact. I'm confident Dylan will have a bright future as a student-athlete here at MTSU and as a big part of Blue Raider Baseball in the future. "
