Rhoda Earns Sixth C-USA Freshman of the Week Honor

DALLAS – The conference office has announced Monday afternoon that freshman Adri Rhoda was named C-USA Freshman of the Week after her performances this past weekend in Texas. This is her sixth weekly honor from conference this season.
The Minnesota native led the way for the Blue Raiders against UTEP on Friday, racking up a match-leading nine kills on 22 attempts to go along with two service aces. Against North Texas on Sunday, Rhoda racked up a match-leading 11 kills on a .348 hitting percentage to go along with two service aces.
Among Freshman in Conference USA, Rhoda ranked first in kills (20), kills/set (3.33), points (25.5), and points/set (4.25). She was also tied for first in total aces (4) and was second in hitting percentage (.222) and aces/set (.67).
This weekend, Rhoda reached 61 aces on the season, putting her on the career list for service aces already in the 25-point era at ninth. This weekend also brought Rhoda back to third in the nation for total aces and sixth for aces per set.'
She is just one of three players in C-USA history to win six or more Freshman of the Week honors. The others being Charlotte's Emani' Foster with six (2020-21) and WKU's Paige Briggs with seven (2019).
